In the past few months we have assisted hospices dealing with UPIC Audits, SMRC Audits, Targeted Probe and Educate Audits. The OIG recently issued a scathing report referring to hospice survey deficiencies and citing numerous instances of patients being harmed due to lack of compliance with the Conditions of Participation.
